Citi is inviting applications for its 2025 Learnership Graduate Programme based in Johannesburg. This one-year opportunity is designed for recent graduates who want to build a career in the financial sector while gaining practical experience within Citi’s Independent Compliance Risk Management (ICRM) team.
About the Programme
The ICRM Learnership gives graduates the chance to apply their academic knowledge in a real banking environment. Participants will work closely with compliance and risk specialists, learning how to identify and manage compliance risks across different business areas. The programme includes exposure to regulatory frameworks, risk assessments, data analysis, policy implementation and other core compliance functions. Throughout the year, learners will be supported with training and mentorship aimed at developing their professional and technical skills.

The experience gained during the programme equips graduates for long-term careers in compliance, risk management and the broader financial services industry. Learners may apply for permanent roles at Citi during the programme year.
