Can I Collect my R350 Grant at Shoprite [Find out here]

Sassa SRD R350 Grant has been extended for another one year by the president of the Republic of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa. People are starting to ask various questions such as “Can I collect my R350 grant at Shoprite?” If this is one of the many questions you have about the SRD R350 Grant, read further more for the answer and more.

Where to collect R350 Grant currently?

You may collect your R350 grant at the following retailers:

Pick n Pay Retailers

You can collect your R350 grant at Pick n Pay retailers across the country.

Boxer Superstores

You can collect your R350 grant at Boxer Superstores across the country.

The South African Post Office

A lot of people are also collecting their grants at the South African Post Office. The Post Office releases payment dates on a monthly basis for beneficiaries to know when to collect their grants. They categorise beneficiaries using the last three digits of beneficiary ID number for the beneficiaries to go and collect their monies at the Post Office. Beneficiaries are advised to wait for an SMS from the Post Office informing them of when they are supposed to go to the Post office to collect their monies.

You may also get your grant money directly into your bank account. Sassa has recently encouraged those receiving their monies via post office and cash send to submit their banking details to Sassa so that they can get payments through the bank.

Can I Collect my R350 grant at Shoprite?

Currently, you cannot collect your R350 grant at Shoprite via cash send. Only if you are getting your grant through bank account you can withdraw your money as cash back at any Shoprite store.

But do not rule out the possibility for future collection at Shoprite as official collection point including other retailers. The spokesperson for Sassa after the president has extended the grant said that Sassa may negotiate with more institutions for the disbursement of the extended R350 grant.
