1. The Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa Study Buddy Bursary
You can apply for this bursary if you meet the following requirements:
Study Buddy Fund application requirements
- Must pass grade 12 with bachelor’s admission and an acceptance from a South African university. Residing in one of the host communities will be advantageous;
- Must be in grade 12 in the recruiting year or applying for first year at university;
- Must not be affiliated with CCBSA or its affiliates; and
- Must have applied to an accredited SA tertiary institution and meet all criteria above.
Closing Date is 31 January 2024.
2. SAWISE Angus Scholarship
Requirements and Eligibility For The SAWISE Angus Scholarship
Applicants must qualify for the following minimum requirements before applying:
- A sub-Saharan black female
- Must have achieved 70% or above grade average in her subject of study
- Only for studies at the Honours level (or 4th-year equivalent e.g. in engineering)
- Studying within any field of science and engineering
Please be advised that South African applicants will be given preference and successful applicants will be a member of SA WISE.

3. Ngodwana Energy Bursary 2024
Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered):
- You must be a South African citizen
- You must be under 35 years old
- You must reside within one of the following beneficiary communities:
- Emakhazeni Local Municipality: Ward 5 Communities (Arlie, Hemlock, Sycamore) or Ward 7 Communities (Engwenya (Waterval Boven))
- City of Mbombela Local Municipality: Ward 12 Communities (Berlin, Bhamjees, Elandshoek, Kaapsehoop, Ngodwana, Schagen, De Goedehoop Farm) or Ward 14 Communities (Kankanyisa (Agri-Village), Lugedleni, Metaffin, Mbambo, Newstands, Skomsplaas, Sterkspruit, Woodhouse))
- You must have completed Matric
- You must be registered or accepted to study full-time, towards a Degree or Diploma in one of the fields listed above, in 2024
- You must be registered or accepted to study at a recognised and accredited higher education institution in South Africa
- You must have achieved a minimum average of 60% for your most recent studies
- You must NOT be receiving any other bursary funding (including NSFAS)
- You must NOT be in student debt for longer than 3 years

4. Services SETA Bursary for 2024
You qualify for Services SETA Bursary if you meet the following requirements:
- Applicants must be employed within the scope of Services SETA.
- Should not currently hold a bursary within the PSET system.
- Preferably enroll in a course aligned with hard-to-fill vacancies identified in Services SETA’s Sector Skills Plan (SSP 2023/24 Chapter 3).

5. ITHUBA Bursary for 2024
Requirements
High-achieving learners in Grade 12 are invited to submit their applications.
To apply, students must have obtained a 70% average (or above) for each subject and a 70% average (or above) total average of the Applicant’s issues from the previous academic year.
Certified copy of S.A. Identity Document of applicant and parent/s and/or guardian/s.
Proof of income of Parent/Guardian confirming household income is not more than R350 000 p/a. Certified copy of latest academic results.
Provisional letter of admission from a South African tertiary institution.
Provisional letter of admission from South African tertiary institutions residency or private
accommodation.
Motivational letter, specifying why the bursary must be awarded to you and how you will contribute
to your community.
