How to add banking details to SRD system?
Sassa allows you to change banking details to receive your SRD R350 grant via bank account. Below, you will find step-by-step on how to add your details to the SRD system.
Sassa plea to R350 beneficiaries
Earlier this year, The South African Social Security Agency has been encouraging SRD R350 Grant beneficiaries to add banking details as a channel to receive their R350 grant payments. They have encountered some delays in disbursing the R350 grant using the cash send method. Post Office has also experienced very long queue of people waiting for this grant and now they have decided not to continue making pay outs for SRD grant beneficiaries.
Sassa therefore now encourages those who were receiving this grant via Post Office to submit their banking details to receive their payments directly into their bank accounts.
