The agency further urged the beneficiaries to use correct banking details for facilitation of their payments. “Beneficiaries are urged to please provide their correct bank account details so that we can timeously facilitate their grant payments. The bank account should still be active and registered in the applicant’s name.”
Is SRD Grant Increased to R500?
No, the Social Relief of Distress Grant has not increased to R500. It remains R350 as stated above.

The current Grant pays R350 to approved applicants for the period determined. The extension of the grant depends of the availability of the funds and the announcements are made by the relevant officials.
