Social Grants are paid on a monthly basis to the beneficiaries by the South African Social Security Agency. Sassa is an agency of the Department of Social Development in South Africa responsible for the disbursement of social grants and other social assistance.
Sassa is responsible for disbursing grants such as Child Support Grant, Old Pensioners Grant, Foster Child Grant, Disability Grant, War Veteran Grants and more.

What is a Foster Child Grant?
Gov.za describe Foster Child Grant as temporary placement of a child who is in need of care and protection. The child is placed in the care of a suitable person who is not the parent or guardian of the child.
Who qualifies to be a foster child grant?
The child must be under 18 years of age and/or:
Have been abandoned or orphaned and be without any visible means of support
display behaviour which cannot be controlled by the parent or care-giver
Be living on the streets or begging for a living
Be addicted to a dependence-producing substance and without any support to obtain treatment for such dependency
Have been exploited or exposed to exploitation
Be at risk if returned to the custody of the parent, guardian or care-giver
Be in a state of physical or mental neglect, maltreated, abused or degraded by a parent, a care-giver, a person who has parental responsibilities and rights or a family member or by a person under whose control the child is.

Hlo I’ve re -apply after you open the link, I’ve got a message saying my 350granf is active,but when i check my status it says pending,for how long will it be pending,and will we still get paid for April,eish bathong,our stess levels are up,we gonna get a heart attack really .Thank you hope that you will reply

My April 350 grant is still pending, i have re applied and did everything they asked for everything is the same as with all the previous months but now me and my child cant even buy bread because they never paid my April 350 I’m still waiting. But sassa published on so many websites that no time will be wasted to pay people after they re applied for the 350 grant and now other websites say payment for May wil start after all other grants are paid, so what do I have to do, to email and contact them it is a waste of time I don’t get an answer to my problem
