Reminder | May SRD Pay Dates

It is almost the middle of the month of May, if you have not yet received the SRD payment for the month, here are the May SDR pay dates at SAPO.

Did you know that the South African Post Office will no longer pay out the SRD grants in future? Yes, SAPO announced that they will no longer pay the R350 grants, and beneficiaries must opt for other payment options such as bank accounts and retailers.

May 2022 SRD Pay Dates

The following are the pay out dates from the South African Post office for the remainder of the month. The payments were scheduled to start from 9 May until 31 May.

12 MAY: 083 & 088

13 MAY: 084 & 089

16 MAY: 080 & 085

17 MAY: 081 & 086

18 MAY: 082 & 087

19 MAY: 083 & 088

20 MAY: 084 & 089

23 MAY: 080 & 085

24 MAY: 081 & 086

25 MAY: 082 & 087

26 MAY: 083 & 088

27 MAY: 084 & 089

30 MAY: 080 & 085

31 MAY : 081 & 086

It is worth noting that Sassa does not process payments on weekends and public holidays. Also, beneficiaries do not have to rush to Post Office without receiving an SMS notifying them of the date to collect their R350 grants.

Did you know that from April 2022, all SRD Grant beneficiaries were required to reapply for the grant? Sassa said that everyone who needs assistance have to reapply.

I haven’t received my April payment it says pending and I’ve never worked before but when I first applied 2020 it said I’m receiving income which I don’t understand and again I reapplied 2021 it still said the same thing until December when they approved and started paying me December 2021 until March 2022, so I want to know about the previous months since it declined because “I was receiving some income” which was not true

  4. My payment is declined due to UIF registered from Aug 2021 till March 2022 every month the same reason I did not work my husband passed away due to Covid on 1 July 2021 and the Government did not help me with any sassa R350 grant please help me.

I think there’s too many fraudulent in this social relief grant because some of us we hardly get uif bt still we have been rejected and it’s so painful because we hardly go to work and what people of sassa doing is not fair to us because we really in need of this money too because we are not working…..

  10. I applied when it all started 2020,2021 and was declined on all occasions. I have not being working sins 2017. I only start receiving the SRD money in Dec 2021 till March 2022. Then it stop I reapplied again April 2022 it’s still pending. I want to know what happened to all monies from the day I applied because others got their backdated monies.

    My status have been pending since ,before the end of April ,It’s the 12th of May today.

    I’ve been receiving this grant through my bank account .May month doesn’t even appear on my Saassa SRD website ,so how can people collect monies ,at a post office for May ,when payment haven’t even started for April?

    I just want to follow up on April and may 2022 srd 350 payment. I still did not received sms to show if it was decline or not.i Apply last year august 2021 for the the Grant and it was declined I don’t know why becase I did not get any income from 2020 until now. I was only approve from December 2021 till March 2022.so what is gonna happen fo the last years grant I did not receive. Can somebody please assist me in this matter.

    1. Are you fabricating stories without checking first facts with Sassa. Cause no one has been approved let alone paid first.
