How to Appeal for NSFAS Funding?

To submit your appeal, you need to first log onto your myNSFAS portal and submit the appeal directly to NSFAS. You may also download the NSFAS appeal application form as soon as the appeals application opens.

From the day of your application rejection, you are given at least up to 30 days to submit an appeal. Failure to appeal during this period may lead to your appeal not to be considered.

Should you have an appeal with outstanding documents, you’ll have 14 days to submit the documents, after which the appeal application will be closed automatically by NSFAS.

It is very crucial that you submit the NSFAS appeal with all the required supporting documents directly to NSFAS on time. This will allow NSFAS to review your appeal and give you feedback on time.
