Sapoa Bursary details
The SAPOA Bursary for 2026 applications open for Matrics and First-Year Students – in Property and Built Environment Studies. The bursary cover tuition fees, accommodation fees and prescribed textbooks.
The South African Property Owners Association (SAPOA) is inviting applications for its 2026 SAPOA Bursary program. This bursary is specifically aimed at current matriculants and recent school leavers who plan to start their studies in 2026 in property-related fields.
The SAPOA Bursary Fund supports young South Africans from employment equity groups, helping to develop future professionals in the property and built environment sectors while closing key skills gaps in the industry.

Who Can Apply:
• South African citizens aged 18 to 35 in 2025 or 2026
• Current Grade 12 learners (matriculants) or individuals who matriculated in a previous year but have not yet started or wish to restart a relevant degree
• Applicants must plan to study one of the SAPOA-funded qualifications listed below
Undergraduate Degrees Funded by SAPOA:
• BCom Property Valuation & Management
• BSc Architectural Studies
• BSc Construction Studies
• BSc Property Studies
• BSc Quantity Surveying
• BSc Real Estate
• BSc Civil Engineering
• Bachelor of Urban / Town & Regional Planning
Required Documents:
• Certified copy of applicant’s South African ID
• Certified copy of parent/guardian ID
• Proof of household income
• Latest Matric results or Grade 11 report (for current matriculants)
• Proof of 2026 university application (acceptance letter, waitlist confirmation, or application receipt)
Document Submission Guidelines:
All documents must be submitted in PDF format. If you’re currently in matric and haven’t received your Matric certificate, upload your most recent Grade 11 report under the Matric Results section.

Motivational Letter Requirement:
