Step On the SAPS Careers Ladder Because They Are Recruiting
Wondering how to step into the SAPS Careers ladder? Here is how South African Police Services recruits new police force members. The new recruitment window is open until the end of June 2022.

The successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend of R4500 per month for 8 months basic training programme.

Academic requirements
Be in possession of a Senior Certificate / National Senior Certificate / National Certificate (Vocational) and be in possession of a Bachelor of Science Degree or other any other fields of study (minimum 3 year National Diploma/Degree) recorded on the National Learners’ Record Database on NQF level 6 or higher.
Age requirements
Applicants must be between eighteen (18) and under thirty (30) years of age.
Tattoos and criminal offences
Candidates must have no previous criminal convictions or pending criminal cases and shall allow his or her fingerprints to be taken and background enquiries to be made, and found to be suitable for appointment. Not have any tattoo marks of which will be visible and/or irreconcilable with the objectives of the Service. See more requirements here.

Physically and mentally fit
South African citizen
Must have matric
Proficient in English and one other official language
No previous criminal convictions
No visible tattoos
Code 4 and above in English (advantageous)
Valid driver’s license (advantageous)

Applicants must also submit a CV and copy of their ID.

The reason I want to work for SAPS is because our country have less number of police officers more than the population so crime is too hight in our country so I want to go out there and prevent crimes.

My mom was approved for February and March but she hasn’t received any message for collection. April still pending. She changed her banking details but still no assistance. She doesn’t have a bank account but with the option she chose still no help.
