Joe Morolong Local Municipality, in collaboration with the Department of Land Reform, is inviting suitable candidates to apply for its 12-month Learnership Programme for the 2025/2026 intake.
This initiative aims to equip young people with valuable skills while addressing youth unemployment in the region. Successful candidates will undergo training to obtain a Certificate in Road Traffic and Law Enforcement (NQF Level 4).

Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this learnership, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a South African citizen with a Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Submit SAPS Clearance results (no criminal record)
- Provide proof of medical examination
- Permanently reside within the jurisdiction of Joe Morolong Local Municipality
Selection Process
Shortlisted candidates will:
- Undergo a physical assessment and interview
- Submit their SAPS Clearance results (other criminal clearance certificates will not be accepted)
- Maintain fitness levels and participate in ongoing fitness assessments
