Job Purpose
To transport passengers, goods and documents in accordance to road traffic rules and standard operating procedures in order to optimise terminal productivity.
Position outputs
1. Perform daily checks on vehicle prior to commencement of work to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
2. Complete daily task sheet, record equipment defects and advise supervisor on defects.
3. Ensure that fuel and fluid levels are replenished in line with the standard operating procedure.
4. Drive vehicle in accordance with applicable road traffic rules and standard operating procedures and monitor vehicle performance during use.
5. Report accidents and incidents in which occur during performance of duties.
6. Ensure correct equipment and tools are utilised during performance of duties.
