SRD R350 Grant
The SRD R350 grant will remain R350. However the government is in the middle of talks about a permanent basic income grant. The president indicated on his SONA speech that they are looking to replace the R350 grant with a more suitable grant. It is estimate that this may be introduced by 2023 or just before the 2024 national elections.
R350 grant extension
As the R350 grant has been extended, a lot of people are wondering if they have to reapply for the R350 grant or not. The answer to that is, no, you do not have to reapply if you have been approved already. But if your application has been rejected, you may appeal or reapply monthly.

Why not stop the grants for children not yet born. Keep the existing grants but only limit for any newborn to 1 one per parent as some youngsters, females , keep having unplanned children and because they expect these grants to support their irresponsible pregnancies. Once this is in place see how quickly they get themselves out of the poverty they put themselves in
Thank you for the increase .
