More about application rejections

Applications Verification and Validation

All received applications by Sassa for the Special Covid-19 SRD R350 grant are verified on a Monthly basis, to confirm if they meet the qualification criteria.

Applications that do not meet the qualification criteria are declined with reasons.

SRD R350 Grant Qualification Criteria

During the application process, all applicants agreed to the declaration and consent that stipulates the qualifying criteria and provides consent to SASSA to verify the information against the various databases that are used to validate the qualification for the grant.

How many times did I do an appeal since August I’ve applied and I used all the method to do an appeal for UIF but still today no changes. I visited SASSA branches making emails, calling the customer service providers and does appeal with my phones and last visited the Post Office and they told me that I am not existing and thus told me they took my mine because why it takes more than I expected to get it. I am unemployed not receiving any kind of income but still not qualified to get SRD R350 grant. Now I do not trust the officials because in South Africa nowadays too much scandals.

I’ve received my UIF payments 3years ago so I can’t understand why my application comes back declined from August 2021 last year until now April 2022…I needed answers and valid reasons!

I’ve appealed and done the reconsideration for each month that was required so now it’s time SASSA to pull fingers out of there damn behinds and give me answers IMMEDIATELY!!
