Applicants or beneficiaries for the SRD Grant are required as per the new SRD rules to reconfirm if they still need the R350 SRD Grant. This should be done after every three months.

About Sassa SRD Grant Administration

The current cycle of SRD R350 Grant is administered under new regulations. One such regulation is that, every three month, applicants must reconfirm their SRD applications.

Why You Must Your Reconfirm Sassa Application?

All SRD R350 grant applicants must reconfirm their grant applications at least once every 3 months. When you do the reconfirmation, you will be informing SASSA that you still need and qualify for the grant in terms of the regulations.

Who Should Reconfirm Now?

If you have applied for the SRD Grant about three months ago, you should be required to reconfirm your application.

How do I know I have to reconfirm my application?

After every three consecutive months, you have to do the reconfirmation of your application. Follow the steps below to confirm your application.

How to Reconfirm Sassa Application August 2022?

Here are the steps to follow in order to submit your reconfirmation to Sassa:
Step 1: Go to the SRD website here or click https://srd.sassa.gov.za

Step 2: Scroll down to “Reconfirm your grant application”

Step 3: Click the yellow bar that reads “click here to reconfirm your existing application”

Step 4: Enter your ID number 

Step 5: Enter you mobile number

Step 6: Click send SMS, You will receive a One-Time Pin (OTP) via SMS

Step 7: Enter the OTP

Step 8: Click on verify pin

Step 9: Follow the remaining steps to complete the process, then you are done.

  2. I have applied in April, and it was pending until may,June it was approved but up until today I have not received a cent,so what or who received my money. I realy need it as my spouse and myself is unemployed and both struggling to find a job after numerous applications.

  6. I have bad of R350 since 2021 applied for this Srd with no luck the worse part I am unemployed from 2020 as a victim of covid 19
    So my government made this situation worse for rejecting my application (declined my application) really I feel like Ionger south African
    If I am not mistaken is eight months now without 350 Srd

  9. Yes you should increase the SRD grant because the money is way below the required living costs for a normal being to sustain themselves and whilst trying to attain a job so that they can fully live a well sustained life off thier wage or salary.
    The government should try to increase the grant to R500 ,but should do so to get to that value by adding a budget to it on the National Budget Committee. The grant can be increased by R30 rand by every end of financial year u till it reaches that R500.

  26. Yes the grant must be increased to atleast R1500 so that we are able to cover basic needs for the month like groceries, toiletries, data to surf the internet for jobs as well print money for CV’s and transport money to travel to various places to look and apply for jobs.
