1. Since August 2021 I was trying to Apply for SRD grant and my applications from that time has declined, They say I am a UIF beneficiary while I was not.
   My latest application for this Second window opened Only June has approved but not paid as we speak of July now.

2. I’m still waiting to get payed from October 21 by sassa office srd grant350.

4. Why is SASSA declining to pay R350 after making us wait for three months? This is the third and final round of this SRD grant which is chiefly for the unemployed.All other variations in their application and approval processes are illegal!! The President when he announced the extension in January 2022 way before April 2022, he did not say SASSA should pay us/beneficiaries late… what’s going on here? Let us assume they get away with this non payment, where is money gonna goto?? For example if you were employed before sure one is a taxpayer and has a lifetime tax number and the database they are using flag us receiving income elsewhere decline our applications.the same database was used in previous cycle and SASSA acknowledged that the database view they received does give all the facts about some of us (ex government employees).Very funny because in the past cycles active government employees were paid by Sassa using the same database.in my capacity as an aggrieved applicant without prejudice.

5. How does 1 know when srd payments are made into the bank account number that was provided, 2 months there hasn’t been any payment but status says approved. Please advise.

    I would like to enquire how much longer should I wait for my August 2021-November 2021 appeal status outcome & why am I unable to appeal for April 2022 & May 2022 as it is not my fault that I couldn’t appeal them due to Sassa systems having issues with applying for appeals although they say one should aplly within or before 30days?

I was decline for the same reason from August last year till November. I did not consult sassa for that coz I didn’t know what to do. But in December last year it approved till March” I received it from post office. And I applied again but declined. It tells me about the source of income. I lost my job in 2019 till today I’m unemployed. With one child who’s attending school at Rynswart primary School. So I don’t know if to receive money from family members could be the reason why I was declined? If yes then it’s bad coz that’s not salary.. sassa needs to do something about that. I’m preparing to go to their offices to be fully informed. And about the months I was declined for the same reason

    1. I’ve been trying for a week now to update my banking details, received a sms with the link on Saturday which i accessed in a matter of 10 minutes,after entering my ID it said invalid token. I have tried again today and it says already requested in the last 24hours.the sassa call center is not helpful at all,phone got put down in my ear. What is going on here?
       When I try and withdraw at a pick n pay it’s says no card record found.and at checkers it says not registered? I have sassa from February and March an June that I need t ok withdraw.
       Please help me with this matter.as we need the money

23. I am unemployed have been for the past 10 years. I was declined for other source of income noted this was my husband’s money that he transferred to my account for it not to be unnecessarily debited from his account

My June application was declined says that I have other source of income if Sassa would look closely they would notice the money that was in my account was for my sick mother money that I borrowed from other people to help her it wasn’t even in my account for more than half an hour I have never worked not uif registered and one thing Sassa must remember people will get money from people helping them to survive and yes that money need to be paid back to them it’s not mahala and while we are waiting for anything to happen we are in desperate need of survival so we need to ask people to help but that also comes with a price so tell me I am not uif registered doesn’t work due to medical reasons as well so what’s gonna happen know with my June application thank you.

33. Hi me & my GF have been out of a job 2year before covid hit. We tried out for srd it said alternative income went every where to find out where money is coming to Sars to labor department nothing.. The second time around we applied nothing still the same answer.. Third time happy we where approved that’s was December 2021, January2022 hit February, March now we heard we have to reapply now we got self exclusionary funds. I don’t know where it’s coming from but now we stick was hoping to start a business with April & May 350 now we disapproved again. Know how our we the poor gonna come right our government can’t deliver a promise to the people.

    3. Hi Thavandree, I hate to point out the obvious…. We are not the majority. I applied and the same here. I never received a cent. My niece is a student and she is still waiting and the majority students are receiving funds. Guess, what they use it mostly on, alcohol…….
