Purpose Statement
- To contribute towards a safe, professional and engaging facility for Capitec staff and clients through:
- Maintaining the landscape of an assigned area (includes picking up and disposing of garbage, watering, upkeeping landscaped areas, mowing grass, turf management).
- Keeping public areas such as walkways and parking lots clean by means of motorised sweepers and hand cleaning.
- Maintaining specific features of the property, such as park benches, fountains, fences, and irrigation equipment.
Experience
Minimum:
- Matriculants are eligible to apply
Ideal:
- Gardening / landscaping / groundskeeping
- Knowledge on the application of gardening and maintenance tools
Qualifications (Minimum)
- Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)
- Certification
Knowledge
Minimum:
- General administration
- Basic computer knowledge
Ideal:
- 1 year experience in landscaping, gardening and maintenance in a hospitality or corporate environment
- Handling of gardening and landscaping equipment
