   apply for pension can I apply Online or I have to go to SASSA office’s .I will appreciate your help please

3. My Name is THAMSANQA Sithole since I try to apply for for R350 grant they said I’m receiving Uif which is not true because it’s quite been a long time receiving grant, and still yet they saying one thing if I reapply says I’m active, that’s what’s I don’t understand why they doing so.

This whole grant system is a joke.Firstly I dnt get an sms have to check online if my monies are in.Secondly my ID doc came loose at binding was told I cannot get my monies due to that.There are certain post offices accepting my ID Doc and some are not.Thirdly there are some post offices getting the dates wrong for the last 3 digits of ID.I requested on my online application to receive a cash send which was one of the options to receive money and that did not happen
   I have complaint to the post office service complaints department about the horrible service you are given when collecting your grant.The reply was the matter has been dealt with.Im not sure how and apparently your ID doc should look like its tampered with for security reasons.My ID is just taped up on the side so it wont fall out of booklet.How ironic they look for every way not to pay you wants due to you but if they only know how many people con them when it comes to child Grant’s.Why are they making it so difficult if they would cash send me the monies like I requested I would have to endure this trip to the post office on a monthly basis

I continue calling them only to go through the process of appeal every single month. What more can one do? This is ridiculous. It continues one month to the next and the exact same thing happens with no results.

56. Hi. When will the backlog off reconsideration of R350 been paid. I been declined for the R350 simce August last year and then be approved I think in Desember last year. Every time I phone they told me their is no set date for the reconsideration.

    They need to employ people who knows what to do,since allot of people are unemployed but are really brilliant in doing a better job.

68. Mood day I must admit as a fellow South African they manner in which they determine who is in need of the grant is not fair. My son applied in the beginning of this entire , covid grant , bearing in mind at the time of application He Was Not Employed. He had only worked for a comp fir six months as per contract. To this very day he is not Employed and he’s application status states UIF. Clearly yes because of the short time frame of application he only received 1 month of UIF. This is not fair as records can prove. But it states Uif registered what are the employees doing why are the systems not updated. Clearly I would like a response or perhaps let it be the headlines. The fars cats do nothing.

    2. Sassa should update their systems where it comes to UIF registered cases. Why don’t they ask for 3 months bank statements to see that there is no money coming in from UIF? Get more people to sort out the backlogs. Its very unfair to those people that are still waiting for reply or their money!!!
