The university of South Africa (UNISA) is scheduled to open their 2026 registrations as follows:
- Undergraduate qualifications:
- Semester modules: 7th January – 20th February 2026
- Year modules: 7th January – 20th March 2026
- Honours degrees & Postgraduate diplomas:
- Year modules: 7th January – 31st March 2026
- Master’s and Doctoral qualifications: 7th January – 31st March 2026 (some exceptions apply)
Re-registering (returning) Unisa students must register for the 2026 academic year during the applicable registration period.
Once students register, Unisa provides them with a free myLife email address, but the student is responsible for activating the myLife email account as soon as their registration is finalised. The university will send all communications to this myLife email account.

Unisa Late Applications for 2026
