Who Can Appeal for NSFAS 2022
If you have applied for NSFAS and you were declined and you want to make an appeal, read this first because there are those who can appeal for NSFAS and those who cannot appeal for NSFAS in 2022.
NSFAS guidelines for appeal just got updated and this is what you need to know about NSFAS appeals.
First let’s start by outlining some reasons why people have to apply for NSFAS appeal.
If one feels that they meet all the NSFAS requirements to apply for the funding and have sent their application to NSFAS but their application has been declined, they have a good reason to appeal the decision. But one may feel that they satisfy all the NSFAS requirements but NSFAS does not see it that way. So before you send your application for appeal, make sure that you have the supporting documents to substantiate your reasons why you feel you qualify to get funding from NSFAS.

Greetings, I am a returning student and last week my status was unsuccessful. I appealed and the appeal was approved and it moved from ‘filtering’ to ‘funding eligibility’. The next day it was unsuccessful. Am I going to be funded or not?
I was rejected for funding and the reason is N1+ rule but I only got NSFAS for 3 years and I haven’t exceeded the extra time.that is given. How can that be a reason for rejection. I got NSFAS in 2013 and 2014 and then 2021.How can I not be able to appeal?
